I am back from my London trip! Was planning on doing a haul post, but found out that I forgot to include two items when I was editing and uploading my photos. Sadly the sun was already gone when I found out. No worries though, I'll be sure to post it in a few days, but for now I thought I would do an outfit post inspired by the warm(ish) weather.

*Milk; Orange madness!

Queen's Day is the biggest national holiday in the Netherlands and is celebrated on the 30th of April. As the name already suggests, it is a day that us Dutchies celebrate our Queen Beatrix, but this year will mark the last Queen's Day as Prince Willem-Alexander will succeed as king. So from 2014 onwards, Queen's Day will be known as King's Day.

The cool thing about Queen's Day is that the entire country will become one GIGANTIC flea market as everybody is allowed to sell their items on the streets! There will also be a lot of street parties and festivals so that is why I put together a casual, festival inspired outfit with of course, a lot of orange accents!

Fluro cut-out skate dress - River Island (€46) Oversized denim 'Tova' jacket - Monki (€55) Fluro orange beanie - 'Ragged Priest' available at Topshop (€20) Dr. Martens 8-eyelet boots - 'Dr. Martens' available at Urban Outfitters (€131) Classic Sheffield Lady watch - Daniel Wellington (€159) 'Morange' Lipstick - MAC (€17)

*** Note: Prices may differ per country and retailer.

I would totally wear this outfit (if I had the money to purchase everything lol)! I already have the 'Dr. Martens' boots and 'Monki' oversized denim jackt. This is the first time that I posted an outfit so please let me know if you like it and want to see more of these kinds of post in the future.

*Cookiie; November Wish List

Monthly wish lists starting this month! It seemed a good thing to do since our wish list at the right is mainly for beauty products, and material girls like us just have more to wish for than that.

1. Alchemy Gothic Adderbite Snake Ring 2. Silver Bobble Round Necklace - Accessorize 3. Coltrane - Jeffrey Campbell 4. 3-D Flower Mesh Jumper - American Apparel 5. Biker Boots - Sacha 6. Adya Collar Tips - Monki 7. Pascal Boot - Dr. Martens

Yes, some of these products are either way too expensive for me or already sold out. However, I always look out for similar looking products and sometimes even save up money to buy the more expensive stuff. Taking an effort to get my wish list done is always very satisfying, hehe~

*Cookiie; Rainy, Sunny, Windy (OOTD)

It isn't exactly a big revelation if I tell you that The Netherlands have very confusing weather. Not knowing what the day was gonna be like, I decided to go for an outfit that could've been worn whenever (as long as it wouldn't drop to below zero, obviously).

Loose Aztec knit - Forever21 Cognac/Bordeaux wool shorts - New Yorker Lace up ankle boots - H&M Clutch bag - ZARA Earrings - Forever21

*Cookiie; A Summer Like Autumn (OOTD)

Like I promised, here's the quick OOTD post. I shot this last week when the whole week just had beautiful weather. It did give me some troubles trying to capture myself without too much sun exposure, but at least there's no grainy drama going on. :D

Sheer blouse - Gmarket Denim shorts - Gmarket Ring - Primark Leather Satchel Bag - Waterlooplein Market Studded Wedges - Desire Clothing

*Cookiie; Small Gmarket Haul

A short while ago, a friend of mine in Australia wanted to purchase some beanies. He didn't know where he could get some affordable ones, so I recommended Gmarket. All the Gmarket buyers who are reading this, know how incredibly hard it can get to navigate through Gmarket; so I helped him to order. He didn't mind to do a joint spree, so I figured I could get something myself as well! I never order Gmarket directly from Holland, since the taxes would make it so not worth it. But yeah..this wasn't entirely cheaper either, so I got to find another way. Enough jibberjabbering, onto the haul!

So I didn't actually purchase a lot, since it all needed to fit into an bubble wrap envelope. I basically took this as a chance to finally repurchase the Etude House Fresh Cherry Tint in '03 Peach'. I lost mine a long time ago probably in London, so there was no chance in finding it back. But since I got all three again, I can finally do my review on it! To be continued... Oh btw, all the other products in the background are samples. Crazy generous!

Since I'm a stereotype Chinese cheaptard, I filled the extra shipping weight with random stuff. I got me some black socks (god knows why I picked black while I could pick more interesting colours) and a pair of adooorable cookie shaped earring studs. The blue gem studs and extra ear nuts were also random gifts.

Last but not least, shorts! Both Ella and I have finally passed our jeans-with-tees-fase and have gone kind of obsessed with shorts. You can wear them with nearly anything, at any time of the year if you combine it properly. The yellow/beige pair of shorts was actually a mistake, as I was planning to get navy blue ones. I failed to read the Korean names properly, so you can tell I felt really sad when they arrived. Blue navy shorts, I shall get you someday! *shake fist*

That's all~ I'll be posting up an OOTD with Gmarket clothing within a few days, including the denim shorts I purchased this time. Until then!

*Cookiie; Before the Sun Goes Down (OOTD)

First OOTD post! I decided to snap some pictures at around 7 PM (very wise) for a quick post. They're definitely grainy and not the best quality of pictures on this blog, but I think they turned out well enough. Hope you like it!

*Milk; short review & fashion haul

Hey guys, as promised in my last entry from waaay back, review on the Christian Dior 'Hydra Life Youth Essential Hydrating Essence-in-milk'.

Perhaps you can already tell from the picture that I haven't used it very often. Even though it says 'emulsion serum' it fails to replace an actual hydrating serum. Why? Simply because it didn't hydrate my skin enough and I couldn't see any improvement in my skin.

The product is light and absorbs easily into the skin. My skin does feel soft immediately after applying it but the feeling disappears very quickly.

This is not entirely a bad product, just not the product for me. If you like using emulsions, this may be a nice addition to your skincare routine. I would recommend this product to people with normal/combination skin. If you have dry skin like me, then this product won't be able to satisfy you.

Rating: 3/5

The reason why I have been absent for the past couple of weeks is because my cousin from Hong Kong came to visit and I was in charge of keeping her entertained. During her stay here we went to Belgium and Germany and did a lot of shopping (and eating! a lot of eating...).

Here are a few pictures of stuff that I bought this month so it's kind of like a collective fashion haul. There's actually a few more items which I bought but didn't photograph because they're currently in the wash. Haha..

I am embracing the fob style again. I have gotten so lazy in terms of fashion because of school. Normally I just put on whatever I could find in the morning. I missed putting outfits together.

The following clothing are from Stylezi.com

Oversized pink stripey tank top and minty green knitted cardigan.

I love the camera on this top. It's very comfortable. ♥

I'm such a geek, but for some reason I love the Superman logo on this sweater. I'm going to wear this with the pink oversized tank top.

Valentine's high! Isn't it adorable?

My head gear... my ears will stay nice and warm ths winter.

Kitson ice cream necklace and cute bow earrings which I got from Accessorize.

I bought these in Germany along with another pair of boots. The other pair are way too long so it's a bit hard to photograph. They are just simple dark brown leather boots.
